We accept guest contributions from people with genuine experience in their field. You do not need to be famous, but you should be able to show that you understand the topic you’re writing about.

At a minimum, contributors should have at least one of the following:

  • A LinkedIn profile

  • A website or portfolio

  • A newsletter, blog, podcast, or social media presence

  • Relevant work experience

  • Industry qualifications or proven expertise

We also ask that contributors are happy to share their published article on their own channels. If you’re proud of the piece, we want you to help it reach the right people.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in original, useful and well-researched content that helps our audience become better marketers.

Guest posts should:

  • Be original and unpublished elsewhere

  • Be relevant to marketers, creators, brands, or business owners

  • Include practical takeaways, not just theory

  • Be well structured with clear headings and short paragraphs

  • Include credible sources where claims, stats, studies, or platform updates are mentioned

  • Avoid irrelevant promotional links

  • Avoid generic, AI-written, or surface-level content

  • Feel aligned with the Trending Now tone: clear, smart, casual and strategic

We do not publish content that is purely AI-generated. AI may be used to support research or drafting, but every guest post must be genuinely written, reviewed and shaped by a human.

We are most interested in content across:

  • Social media trends

  • TikTok and Instagram strategy

We love pieces that explain why something is working, not just what is happening.

Guest post guidelines

Most guest posts should be around 1,000 words or more, depending on the topic.

We may edit submissions for clarity, structure, tone, formatting and accuracy. We may also suggest changes before publishing.

By submitting a guest post, you give Trending Now permission to publish, edit, promote and repurpose the article across our website, Substack, Instagram, Threads, email and other channels.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Paid guest posts and partnerships

Brands, businesses and agencies may enquire about paid editorial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter placements, or promotional features.

Any paid, sponsored, gifted, affiliate-based, or partnership content will always be clearly disclosed.

We only accept partnerships that feel relevant and useful to our audience.
